The Promegggut is a developed estate in the Salzkammergut, consisting of several independent holiday apartments. Precisely because the house has been expanded and adapted over time, it does not feel like a newly built property from a single mold, but rather like a place with its own character. At the Promegggut, you will not find a hotel structure, but a subdued atmosphere with a strong connection to nature. The surroundings and the house shape the stay equally.
The building was originally used as a hunting lodge. This heritage is still evident today, as it doesn’t feel like a standard modern building, but rather like a house steeped in history.
Depending on the holiday apartment, you’ll have access to a terrace or a balcony, some of which also feature a fireplace. This creates a unique atmosphere that is truly one of a kind. Upon arrival, you’ll quickly realise that this is about more than just a place to stay. You’ll be spending a few days on Lake Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, in a house that has evolved over many years whilst retaining its tranquil character.
The property is quietly located above the center of St. Wolfgang, about 25 meters above Lake Wolfgang. It's only about a three-minute walk from the vacation home to the lake. This way, you stay close to the water without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Distances are short, whether you want to go to the shore in the morning, stroll through St. Wolfgang in the afternoon, or return to peace and quiet in the evening.
Parking spaces are available directly at the house. Access to the holiday apartments is via an access code. This makes arrival simple and your stay flexible, without the property feeling like a place people just pass through.
The Promegggut comprises a spacious, park-like grounds. Mature trees, green spaces and a stream characterise the surroundings, creating a special atmosphere the moment you arrive. As you head towards the woods, it becomes even quieter; the view opens out onto the countryside, and nature begins practically on your doorstep.
